Vice Captain: Ryan Gallagher

What are you most looking forward to for K Cup?

We are most looking forward to…taking back the cup. Haha jk c: We cannot wait for another chance to meet and make new friends, new sisters and brothers in Christ. Meeting other young adults like us is life giving and, as much we love the spirit of competition, the spirit of friendship and love are even more valuable.

What are your strengths as a team?

As a team, we’ve got killer good…looks . Joke again haha We’ve got that family bond going with us here; we believe that teamwork makes the dream work and we all know each other so well that things just flow. Our skills span across all categories, from biblical prowess to physical fitness, we’ve gotta catch ’em all. Most importantly, we’ve got trust – trust in each other, trust in God to lead us through this battle.

Do you have any ministry events you’d like to promote on our blog?

The Newman Catholic Center – Davis is open to ALL students, young adults, and community members! You don’t have to be a UC Davis student or even live in the Davis areas. We are a bit of a drive from Sacramento area and our neighbors to the south, but we love visitors and new faces. There are events happening each day of the week when school starts. See our website and follow us on Facebook and Instagram for more details and updates.

Just a couple of more recent and upcoming events that we’d like to invite everyone to:

  • OnFire NorCal Jam, September 16 at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, CA. We’ll be having a booth there so come check us out! More information at:
  • Diocese of Sacramento: Ministry Days, September 29-30 at St. Francis High School in Sacramento. More information at:
  • NCC – Davis Fall Retreat 2017, October 27-29. More information at: or follow us on Facebook and Instagram.

We will definitely start posting stuff soon and bring some volunteers if we can!

Special request for Father Ritter since he’s the homie of the century, but he’s all the way up in Chico now *sadface* Father Raj, Father Josh Sia are the greatest as well haha Just get all the priests to come.
