What are you most looking forward to for K Cup?

We are the Newmanites and we are looking forward to crushing the competition! Just kidding. We are here to celebrate a healthy competition among our peers (and to show that Catholics can be athletic too!). We are one of two teams representing UCDavis Newman- the Newmanites and the Newman Ninjas.

We are made of the veterans, who’ve spoken of the great feats they had to overcome to sweepthe games last year, and the fresh blood, eager to prove themselves and bring home the trophy.

Davis Newman is a community that welcomes all and strives to bring members closer to Christ.

What are your strengths as a team? (Endurance? Focus? Biblical trivia knowledge?Ability to name that Pokemon without even looking???)

Our strengths lie in our sense of unity…to dominate. All of the competitors proved their worth to join such a prestigious team to represent their Newman brothers and sisters. I have faith that the Newmanites will stand united in the face of opposition and persevere. We are excited to participate once again and hope this year to be another challenge!

Do you have any ministry events you’d like to promote on our blog?

UCCC- University Catholic Conference of California  was hosted this past February at UCDavis.

This conference is a weekend long event that brings Catholic university students together toconnect with each other and discuss their faith. It is a great way to explore Catholicism and makefriendships with other college students from all over California.

For more information check out their website

If anyone needs anymore convincing, the conference is going to be held at the beautiful UCLA in2017. ‘Nuff said.
